About Ethan Watters
Author of URBAN TRIBES
Ethan Watters is a writer living happily in San Francisco. He’s written for many of national magazines including New York Times Magazine, Spin, Details Mother Jones, GQ, Esquire, and The San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, among others. In 1994 he founded (with fellow writers Po Bronson and Ethan Canin) The San Francisco Writers’ Grotto, a workspace that now has offices for 21 novelists, journalists and filmmakers.
Ethan delayed marriage twice as long as the average man of his generation (and, therefore, knows twice as much about what that delay means).
